British consultancy group Wine Intelligence highlighted two Concha y Toro brands in the 2020 edition of its Global Wine Brand Power Index: Casillero del Diablo and Frontera.
This year Casillero del Diablo maintained its outstanding position, taking second place in the global ranking for the third consecutive year. Sebastián Aguirre, the brand’s Head of Marketing, stated: “We are once again proud to have received this major recognition, but we take even greater pride that it comes from consumers themselves. Making the podium in this listing gives us immense motivation to carry on working to position Casillero del Diablo as one of the most significant, celebrated, and valued wine brands, worldwide.”
Meanwhile, Frontera took eighth place in the global brand power index, rising seven places since the 2019 index was published. Carlos Maucher, Senior Brand Manager Endorsed Brands, explained: “This marks a tremendous advance for the brand, as it is the first time that it has ranked in the Top 10 – a reflection of the intense work we are doing as a team to build a solid brand with an ever clearer and more powerful story, as we strive to improve our consumer experience with a different and innovative offering.”
