Once again, the 2014 vintage of the Alto Maipo icon Cabernet Sauvignon has obtained an historic score.
The US-based critic James Suckling honored the 2014 Don Melchor with 98 points, the highest score ever awarded to a wine of that vintage.
“Wonderful aromas of stones, mint and blackcurrants. Sweet tobacco. Tile and rust. So aromatic. This is the best Don Melchor I have ever tasted. Full body, very soft yet firm and silky. It has tension, intensity and balance.” James Suckling
