Wine Spectator shines its light on Don Melchor yet once again. The industry’s most important publication granted its 2011 vintage 94 points, making it the magazine’s highest-ranking Chilean wine for the fourth consecutive vintage.
The May 2015 edition of the magazine called Don Melchor a Cabernet Sauvignon that is “elegant and powerful, of permanent consistency,” and listed it as a Top Wine.
This accolade is added to the Don Melchor’s great achievements with the 2010 vintage, which was 9th among Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year, making it the only Chilean wine that has appeared on the list seven times and thus confirming its unparalleled consistency and track record over the course of its 25 vintages.
