An outstanding 92 points were awarded to the 2013 Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Malbec by winemaker Marcio Ramírez in the most recent report by US wine critic James Suckling, published on his web site on November 18.
The grapes for this wine come from the Palo Santo Vineyard in the Colchagua Valley on the banks of the Tinguiririca River.
The Gran Reserva Serie Riberas line comes from grapes grown in vineyards located along the banks of Chilean rivers and is the result of Concha y Toro’s ongoing search for new climates and soils that produce high quality wines known for their fresh fruit character.
