Concha y Toro’s performance was outstanding in Wine & Spirits’ special October edition, which featured its 100 Best Wines and 100 Best Buys of 2015. Two of Ignacio Recabarren’s wines made the 100 Best Wines list. Both the 2013 Terrunyo Carmenere Lot Nº1 and the 2011 Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon earned 94 points and were named Best Carmenere from Chile and Best Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, respectively.

The 2013 Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere, also with 94 points, appeared among the 100 Best Buys of the year, and the 90-point 2013 Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Chardonnay, stood out in the Chardonnay category of the same list.

The magazine specifically underscored winemaker Marcelo Papa’s latest innovations, such as earlier harvests and a more moderate use of oak in the Marques de Casa Concha line, as well as the freshness achieved in winemaker Ignacio Recabarren’s Terrunyo Carmenere Lot Nº1.
