For this edition’s “New International Releases” section, the panel blind-tasted 599 wines from Argentina, Chile, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, and Rumania. The critics rated 66 wines as exceptional (90+ points) and 37 as Best Buys.

Among those rated as exceptional are the Terrunyo Riesling 2011 and Terrunyo Syrah 2009, with 91 and 92 points respectively.

The Terrunyo Riesling 2011 was the highest-scoring Chilean Riesling of this vintage, while the Terrunyo Syrah 2009 was the highest-ranked Chilean Syrah.

These important accolades are added to the consistently high scores Terrunyo has obtained over the years and reaffirm Viña Concha y Toro’s commitment to creating the best possible wines that express the specific characteristics of their origins.
