Wine & Spirits recognizes Terrunyo as one of the best Sauvignon Blancs from the Northern coast of Chile

In August, the Wine & Spirits magazine highlighted Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc as one of the “best Sauvignon Blancs from the Northern Coast of Chile.”

In his article, journalist and editor of Wine & Spirits, Joshua Green writes that, “when it comes to coastal assets, few countries have the riches of Chile, where cold currents off the Pacific encounter granite hills, some schist embankments, and even some plots of pure white chalk. These are some of the most favorable conditions for Sauvignon Blanc, and as Chileans learn to attenuate the green aggression of the grape, they are creating a notably refreshing wine at prices that would unnerve producers in France and New Zealand.”

Joshua Green gave Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 90 points and defined it as “a tense and floral Sauvignon, with light and sublime grapefruit flavors, opening up to richer tones of passion fruit. A bit of coastal salinity keeps it dry and makes it a refreshing combination for oysters.”
