With 93 points, Carmín de Peumo 2014 is one of the World’s Best Carmeneres

In the most recent report on Chile, wine critic Luis Gutiérrez, who is responsible for tasting Chilean wines for The Wine Advocate, praised the 2014 Carmín de Peumo with an outstanding 93 points, making it one of the best Chilean Carmeneres on the list. He also considered the icon Carmenere from Concha y Toro the best wine from the Peumo terroir.

The 2014 Carmín de Peumo, by the talented winemaker Ignacio Recabarren, comes from Block 32 of the Peumo Vineyard in the Cachapoal Valley and is composed of 94% Carmenere, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Carmín de Peumo’s successful history has enabled it to promote the development of Carmenere at the global level and position Peumo as the best Chilean terroir for its production.
