JORGE MIRANDA Frontera

“At the winery, we have made a special effort to discover the typicity of the distinctive varietals of the Chilean countryside, like Pedro Jiménez and País. The first has complex aromas related to its terroir of origin, making for a unique, light, fresh and modern white wine. The second, on the other hand, expresses fruity aromas and juiciness on the palate.”

Jorge Miranda holds a degree in Oenology from the University of Talca. His international experience includes technical visits to Italy, the United States and Spain during their wine harvests.

Jorge joined Viña Concha y Toro in 1997, and since then has been in charge of wines for the local market, gaining vast experience in the production of wines from different lines and Chilean valleys.

In 2007, he joined the winemaking team for Frontera, where he helped incorporate new white and red varietals.
