The 2020 vintage of Marques de Casa Concha’s Cinsault rosé from the Itata valley has taken gold medal at the Global Masters Rosé competition organized by international B2B magazine The Drinks Business.
Made from sixty-year-old vines from the Trehuaco area, 18 kilometers from the sea, the Marques de Casa Concha Rosé 2020 stands out for its pale apricot color, a key feature of the best Rosé wines in the world. On the nose, it has notes of garnet and pink melon. In the mouth it is dry, unctuous, warm, and oily, with mineral, fresh and delicate notes and an extraordinary harmony.
This superb recognition comes after American wine critic James Suckling gave the Marqués Rosé 2020 92 points and named it the best rosé in Chile.
