Amelia Chardonnay stands out among the TOP 100 Best Wines of 2025

The prestigious U.S. publication Wine Enthusiast has released its list “The Enthusiast 100: The Best Wines of 2025,” in which Amelia Chardonnay 2023 was highlighted as the only Chilean white wine to make it into this renowned international ranking. 

Each year, Wine Enthusiast—one of the most influential wine magazines in the world—blind-tastes more than 25,000 wines from various origins to identify those labels that surprise, move, and reflect the oenological excellence of the period. In its 2025 edition, Amelia Chardonnay 2023, part of Concha y Toro’s high-end portfolio, was included in this exclusive list. 

With 93 points, the 2023 vintage of Amelia Chardonnay ranked as one of the six Chilean wines featured in the prestigious ranking and the only white wine in the country to receive this distinction. In addition, it was positioned as the world’s Top #4 Chardonnay, a remarkable achievement that highlights its exceptional quality and the faithful expression of its extreme origin in the Limarí Valley. 

Specialized critic Jesica Vargas, responsible for tasting South American wines for Wine Enthusiast, described Amelia Chardonnay 2023 as follows: “Limarí is a valley with low rainfall and lots of sunlight balanced by cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean. Chardonnay has shown excellent results in this region. This white begins with aromas of apricot, quince and a touch of ginger. It has depth and energy, exhibiting wood spices, lime, stone fruit and herbs that run smoothly on the palate. A light note of salt adds interest to the finish.” 

Being part of this select group reaffirms the excellence of the winemaking team behind the Amelia wine line and the remarkable potential of the Quebrada Seca Vineyard in the Limarí Valley, the origin of this wine. This recognition, which adds to Amelia’s impeccable track record, once again demonstrates the great potential of this terroir for producing world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
