The British critic and Master of Wine awarded scores of 90+ to six wines from the most attractive and celebrated terroirs of the New World.

British critic and Master of Wine Tim Atkin has assigned consistently strong scores to the Cellar Collection portfolio. Six of these wines scored 90 points of more, with the highest ratings going to Carmín de Peumo Carmenere 2018 and Amelia Chardonnay 2019, both of which scored 96.

Carmín de Peumo is a creation of leading winemaker Marcio Ramírez, a blend of 95.34% carménère (Viñedo Peumo, D.O. Peumo, Cachapoal Valley), 4.36% cabernet franc (Puente Alto Vineyard, D.O. Puente Alto, Maipo Valley), and 0.3% cabernet sauvignon (Pirque Viejo Vineyard, D.O. Pirque, Maipo Valley). Meanwhile, Amelia Chardonnay is made with 100% chardonnay grapes, imbued with an excellent combination of structure and minerality, born in the Limarí Valley’s Quebrada Seca Vineyard – the same origin as the grapes for Amelia Pinot Noir 2019, which scored 93 points.

Similarly, Terrunyo, the first multi-origin Ultra-Premium brand and another creation of winemaker Marcio Ramírez, earned three major plaudits: 93 points for Terrunyo Carmenere 2019, and 92 for both Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 and Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2020.

The Cellar Collection portfolio is thus further adding to its trophy chest and continuing to consolidate its position amongst the world’s finest wines, with its wide range of brands from the full gamut of Chilean wine country.
