Concha y Toro opens its Tourist Center in Pirque to the public

Taking all measures to ensure the well-being of its visitors, Concha y Toro has begun to welcome wine lovers to enjoy its wine tourism experience in Pirque.

Concha y Toro is welcoming the general public back to its Tourist Center in Pirque, while taking all the necessary health measures to guarantee the safety of its visitors and tour guides. The winery has adopted all the health procedures required by the authorities, which are detailed in a special COVID-19 prevention protocol that must be reviewed by visitors on the website reserva.cyt.conchaytoro.cl/cytWP/ while planning their visit or by clicking here.

The measures include a maximum of 50 people allowed inside the premises while the municipality is in phase 2 and 100 visitors when Pirque is in phase 3. Upon entering, they will have their temperature taken and be asked to fill-in a health survey. In addition, everyone must wear a mask at all times and wash their hands and clean their shoes. Floor stickers acrylic dividers for social distancing and alcohol gel dispensers have been installed. Surfaces and others spaces will be sanitized daily.

During this trial run, ten tours will be offered each day, including Traditional, Marques de Casa Concha and Fine Wines tours, with a maximum of 10 people per time slot. Thus, visitors will be able to enjoy a more personalized experience with new areas such as the sculpture garden and the Plaza de las Ánforas. Entrance to the legendary Casillero del Diablo cellar will be supervised as it is an enclosed space.

The tasting tour will take place outdoors on the “Terraza de la Vendimia”, with sanitized and sealed glasses. The Marques de Casa Concha and Fine Wines tastings will be conducted with a maximum of 10 people in separate booths. The glasses will be sanitized at the time of setting up and the tables and chairs will be sanitized after each tasting.

On the other hand, entrance to the Casillero del Diablo winery will be restricted, while a maximum of six people will be able to enter Wine Shop at a time.

All of these security measures are intended to ensure that all tourists that visit Concha y Toro enjoy the best and safest wine experience possible.
