Don Melchor 2018 among the 12 best wines worldwide

Distinguished critic James Suckling placed Don Melchor’s 2018 vintage at number 12 in the world’s 100 best wines ranking. With this recognition, Don Melchor has been on this prestigious list six times.

In March of this year, distinguished American critic and one of the industry’s most influential experts, James Suckling, awarded an exceptional 100 points to our 2018 Don Melchor. Today, he presents a new and grand recognition: placing it at number 12 of the world’s 100 best wines.

For this ranking, Suckling tasted more than 18,000 wines from all over the world and placed Don Melchor in the Top 100 for the sixth time. Only six Chilean wines participated this time, while wines that took the lead originated from Germany, Italy, France, Australia, and the United States.
