Critic James Suckling, one of the most influential figures in the world of wine, placed Don Melchor at the top of the ranking of the 100 top wines of Chile 2020. This new distinction adds to the other great accolades granted by the critic to the 2018 vintage.
The influential American critic, James Suckling, ranked Don Melchor 2018 in first place of the Top 100 Wines of Chile. The report highlights Don Melchor 2018 as a wine that is “all about youth, depth and energy that unveils the beautiful poise of a top Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon with its dense but superbly polished tannin and tension, knitting up a full but linear and seamless mouthfeel.”
This recognition is in addition to the extraordinary 100 points given by Suckling to the 2018 vintage of Don Melchor in March 2020, and the 12th place ranking among the Top 100 Wines in the world published this past November.
