Marcelo Papa Concludes successful Week in Brazil

With the aim of strengthening the presence of the company’s high-end wine portfolio, Concha y Toro’s Technical Director and Winemaker led a series of activities with key clients, sales teams, and media in key cities across Brazil. 

Marcelo Papa carried out an intense schedule of activities in the cities of São Paulo and Florianópolis, Brazil, with the objective of reinforcing the market presence of Viña Concha y Toro’s premium wines, including Amelia Chardonnay, Amelia Pinot Noir, and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage. 

The agenda included events with clients and distribution channels, a Masterclass with end consumers, meetings with influential Brazilian media, and an exclusive interview on the podcast “Vamos de Vinho”, streamed via the UOL platform. 

One of the highlights of the trip was Marcelo’s participation in the Wine Locals Festival, held in the exclusive Boa Vista Village in São Paulo. On this occasion, Marcelo played a leading role by hosting a Masterclass where he presented the high-end labels: Amelia Chardonnay 2018 and 2023, Amelia Pinot Noir 2022, and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2021. He provided deep insights into the unique qualities of each wine, highlighting the exceptional characteristics of their origins: the D.O. Limarí for Amelia, and the prestigious D.O. Puente Alto for Marqués de Casa Concha Heritage. 

During the visit, Marcelo also took part in an exclusive wine-pairing dinner in collaboration with one of the market’s main distributors. The event included direct-to-consumer sales opportunities, whith the luxury portfolio was prominently featured, reaffirming public interest in the portfolio’s exclusive wines. 

Marcelo Papa’s visit to the Brazilian market marked a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the positioning of Viña Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brands portfolio in Brazil.
