The Drinks Business highlights Amelia Chardonnay 2021 among Chile’s “7 wonderful white wines”

Patrick Schmitt, the editor-in-chief of The Drinks Business, added our Amelia Chardonnay from the Luxury Brands portfolio to his list of premium Chilean whites.

The prestigious British publication, The Drinks Business, recently published an article that selected seven great exponents of Chile, among which Amelia Chardonnay stood out with its 2021 vintage.

The article called “Seven wonderful white wines from Chile,” written by Patrick Schmitt, MW and editor-in-chief of the magazine, distinguished our Limarí Appellation exponent, Amelia Chardonnay 2021, with an outstanding 95 points – the highest score on the list.

Schmitt described Amelia Chardonnay 2021 as a wine with  “a lovely nose with some roasted peach, toast, pineapple, and peanut too; scents that are suggestive of very fine Chardonnay. […] There’s intensity and a lingering salty finish. It’s hard not to drink, and seemingly a slightly more refreshing expression of the reliably outstanding Chardonnay that is Amelia – Concha y Toro’s flagship white wine.”

This mention highlights the excellent quality of our wine from Viña Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brands portfolio. It reaffirms the worldwide recognition of Chilean wines by the global wine press.
