During his visit to Chile in December, renowned British wine critic Tim Atkin tasted the new vintages of Viña Concha y Toro for his upcoming report on Chilean wines. Discover the scores below!
The prestigious wine critic and Master of Wine from the United Kingdom, Tim Atkin, recently revealed the scores for the wines that will be featured in his upcoming report on Chilean wines, awarding all of Viña Concha y Toro’s high-end portfolio scores above 93 points.
For Concha y Toro’s iconic Carmenere, Carmín de Peumo, it dazzled with an extraordinary 96 points for the 2022 vintage.
Regarding other representatives from the Luxury Brands portfolio of Concha y Toro, their outstanding wines from the Limarí appellation received great scores. The 2023 vintage of Amelia Chardonnay received 97 points, while Amelia Pinot Noir earned 95 points.
Meanwhile, the Terrunyo line was also recognized with scores above 93 points across its three varieties. The 2022 harvest of Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon from the Pirque appellation received excellent 94 points. Following that, Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2024 from Casablanca and Terrunyo Carmenere 2023 from Block 27 of the Peumo vineyard both scored 93 points.
