Viña Amelia receives outstanding recognition in the Alistair Cooper MW Guide by Catad’Or
Viña Amelia’s Quebrada Seca collection stood out with excellent scores for its 2024 and 2025 vintages, along with major accolades in the 2026 edition of this renowned publication.
During April, British Master of Wine Alistair Cooper, together with the Catad’Or team —Sofía Le Foulon and Pablo Ugarte— visited the Pirque winery to taste the new vintages from Viña Amelia’s portfolio alongside Marcelo Papa, Winemaker and Technical Director.
The guide recently released the results of its 2026 edition, where Viña Amelia’s Quebrada Seca collection achieved outstanding scores and secured important trophies.

Amelia Quebrada Seca Chardonnay, from vintages 2024 and 2025, was awarded 96 points. The 2025 vintage, in particular, received three major trophies: Best White Wine, Best Chardonnay and Best Limarí, distinctions that reaffirm the exceptional quality of this leading reference from the Limarí Appellation.
Meanwhile, the 2024 vintage of Amelia Quebrada Seca Pinot Noir achieved an impressive 95 points, further consolidating the consistency and excellence of the collection.
These recognitions for Viña Amelia reaffirm the great potential of the Quebrada Seca vineyard in the Limarí Valley — an extreme origin that offers exceptional conditions for the production of world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
