Chilean wine producer Concha y Toro highlighted its luxury brands – Don Melchor and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage – at an event organized by the renowned American wine critic James Suckling in Seoul and Hong Kong.

Viña Concha y Toro recently participated in the Great Wines of the World Asia 2023 held in the cities of Seoul and Hong Kong. The event occurred at the Shilla Seoul Hotel in South Korea, where the company showcased its two great wines from the Puente Alto Appellation of Origin: Don Melchor and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage., both in their 2020 vintage. The event was hosted in Hong Kong at the Four Seasons Hotel, where the winery presented its iconic Cabernet Sauvignon Don Melchor in the 2020 and 2021 vintages.

High-profile individuals attended the global wine exhibition, including journalists, wine enthusiasts, and industry buyers. The selected wines, rated 92 points or more by James Suckling and his editors, were available for tasting. This year’s event featured 120 wineries from all over the world, showcasing over 200 wines from prominent wine regions around the globe. 

“Presenting the concept behind the Puente Alto appellation along with our two exceptional wines, Don Melchor and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, was a great opportunity. We were delighted to display the goodness, subtleties, and undisputed quality of the origin of these wines to industry experts, wine lovers, and others. This was one of Asia’s most significant international showcases,” stated Rodrigo Jackson, Commercial Manager of Viña Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brand Division, who attended the specialized fair.
