During the tour, visitors will explore the legendary Casillero del Diablo winery, the gardens of Pirque, and other historic sites, culminating with a three-course dinner.

The Casillero del Diablo Night Tour, recently launched at Viña Concha y Toro’s Tourist Center in Pirque, won first place in the “Best Wine Tourism Experience Metropolitan Region” category at the Enoturismo Chile 2024 awards.

After a selection process involving over 60 regional jurors and experts, this tour received the highest score from both the jury and public vote, earning first place at the regional level. The award assessed aspects such as innovation, accessibility, and appreciation of enogastronomy.

During this experience, visitors will be guided through the gardens and the iconic winery where the legend of Casillero del Diablo was born. Don Isidro, the guide, will captivate those present by sharing intriguing stories and well-kept secrets about this place. The experience will include a wine tasting and culminate with a three-course dinner paired with different Casillero del Diablo wines.

“This award is a significant recognition for us. It not only acknowledges our tourism initiatives but also highlights the importance of our vineyard’s history, heritage, and its connection to elements such as gastronomy and wine. We are committed to promoting this destination further and ensuring that more domestic and international tourists can visit and enjoy this legendary experience,” says María del Pilar Vicuña, Commercial Manager of the Pirque Tourist Center.

“The Enotourism Chile Awards serve as an important platform to showcase and promote the diversity of our wine tourism experiences, both within Chile and internationally. This recognition not only honors the innovation and quality of the wineries but also advocates for wine tourism as a significant contributor to the economic and cultural development of our valleys,” said Claudio Cilveti, President of Enoturismo Chile.
