Concha y Toro Presents Its New Vintages to Journalist Patricio Tapia

Together with winemakers Marcelo Papa, Marcio Ramírez, and Isabel Mitarakis, Concha y Toro presented the company’s new wine vintages to renowned Chilean wine journalist Patricio Tapia.

On Friday, September 26, Concha y Toro showcased the latest vintages from its Premium, Super Premium, and Ultra Premium wine lines to Patricio Tapia, the author of the prestigious Descorchados Wine Guide.

The tasting, held in Pirque, featured the participation of Concha y Toro’s Technical Director, Marcelo Papa, along with winemakers Marcio Ramírez and Isabel Mitarakis. They presented approximately 25 labels to the wine critic, which will be considered for the 2026 edition of the Descorchados Chile guide.

“It was a very enriching tasting with Patricio, where we had the opportunity to present the company’s latest innovations and new vintages. These stood out for their winemaking consistency and strong sense of origin, faithfully reflecting the prestigious appellations they come from. It was, without a doubt, a great afternoon of conversation and connection around wine. As always, we’re grateful for the valuable feedback that allows us to keep improving and evolving every step of the way,” said Marcelo Papa, Technical Director of Concha y Toro.

Following the tasting, Patricio was invited to visit the new Centro del Vino Concha y Toro through a personalized tour of its renovated spaces. The visit included the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience, the Alto Aging Cellar, the Pirque Viewpoint, and Concha y Toro Square. The day concluded with a curated selection of platters and tapas paired with the winery’s wines, wrapping up a memorable tasting and experience.
