The World Travel Awards recognition, “South America’s Leading Tourism Winery 2026,” celebrates Concha y Toro’s wine tourism offering, which brings together wine, heritage, culture, and nature to share Chile’s winemaking history with visitors from around the world.
Chile has reached a new milestone in the global tourism industry. Centro del Vino Concha y Toro has been named “South America’s Leading Tourism Winery 2026” at the World Travel Awards, one of the most prestigious honors in the global travel and tourism industry, recognizing leading destinations, businesses, and experiences across markets worldwide each year.
The recognition was awarded through votes cast by visitors from different countries, positioning Centro del Vino as a leading wine tourism destination in Chile and South America. More than an award for a single experience, this achievement reflects Chile’s ability to showcase its winemaking heritage and connect it with the country’s history, culture, and identity.
Now in its 33rd edition, the World Travel Awards annually recognizes leading names in the global travel industry, bringing together companies, destinations, hotels, airlines, and tourism experiences. In this context, the award presented to Centro del Vino marks a significant milestone for Concha y Toro and an opportunity to further showcase Chile’s winemaking heritage to a global audience.

“Being recognized at the World Travel Awards is a very meaningful milestone for Concha y Toro, but also for Chile, as it demonstrates our ability to create world-class experiences that genuinely connect with visitors from around the world. This recognition validates our approach to sharing our story and showcasing our culture and heritage through wine, while confirming the growing interest in authentic experiences rooted in a place and its traditions,” says Isabel Guilisasti, Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image.
“I would especially like to thank the thousands of people who have visited Centro del Vino and supported us with their votes. Their appreciation has been essential to achieving this recognition. This accomplishment also belongs to every team member who works day in and day out to deliver an exceptional experience, paying attention to every detail and representing the best of Chile to visitors from around the world,” she adds.
A Journey Through the History and Heritage of Chilean Wine
Opened in July 2025 in Pirque, approximately 12 miles from Santiago, Centro del Vino Concha y Toro was created to celebrate Chile’s winemaking history and offer a new way to discover the world of wine.
Spanning more than 12,000 square meters, the destination brings together heritage, technology, art, and nature in an experience that invites visitors to explore the origins and evolution of Chilean winemaking. Through audiovisual installations, immersive experiences, and sensory journeys, guests can discover the many dimensions of a tradition deeply connected to the country’s land and identity.
One of its main highlights is “El Origen de una Leyenda” (“The Origin of a Legend”), an experience that culminates in the historic underground Casillero del Diablo cellar. Here, one of Concha y Toro’s most iconic stories comes to life, connecting visitors with a legend that has become part of Chile’s wine heritage.

The experience extends far beyond the cellars. Historic spaces, gardens, artistic expressions, and culinary offerings enrich the journey, revealing the many ways wine connects with culture and landscape. At Centro del Vino, every space helps tell the story of Concha y Toro’s origins, traditions, and evolution.
Since opening, the destination has welcomed visitors from Chile and abroad, becoming a meeting point for wine and contemporary cultural expressions while expanding the possibilities of wine tourism in Chile.
Being named “South America’s Leading Tourism Winery 2026” strengthens Centro del Vino’s international profile and highlights the potential of Chile’s winemaking heritage as part of a distinctive tourism offering.
THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING US AND BEING PART OF THIS RECOGNITION!
