Tim Atkin MW Awards with outstanding scores to Viña Concha y Toro
During his visit to Chile in December 2025, renowned British wine critic Tim Atkin awarded outstanding scores to the new vintages from Concha y Toro high-end portfolio, which will be included in his upcoming special report on Chilean wines. Here are the main highlights.
The renowned wine critic and Master of Wine recently revealed the scores that will feature in his Chile 2026 Report, giving ratings above 93 points to the entire Concha y Toro’s high-end portfolio.
Amelia, Limarí Appellation
Amelia Chardonnay —previously named “White Wine of the Year” with its 2023 vintage in the 2025 Chile Report— received an outstanding 96 points for the 2024 vintage, praised for its expressive and elegant profile, with marked minerality and salinity, distinctive of its extreme origin in the Limarí Valley.
Meanwhile, Amelia Pinot Noir 2024 earned 94 points in the report. This vintage reflects its terroir with elegance and precision, showcasing tension, structure, minerality, depth, and remarkable freshness.
These accolades confirm the extraordinary winemaking consistency and quality of both wines, grown in the exceptional and extreme conditions of the Quebrada Seca vineyard, located in the renowned Limarí Valley – today considered one of the world’s best terroirs for producing world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Concha y Toro’s Iconic Carmenere: Carmín de Peumo 2023
In this context, Concha y Toro’s iconic Carmenere, Carmín de Peumo, received an extraordinary 96 points for its 2023 vintage.

Recognitions for Concha y Toro’s ultra-premium range: Terrunyo
Additionally, the Terrunyo line was recognized with scores above 93 points across its three varieties: Terrunyo Carmenere 2024, from Block 27 of the Peumo vineyard; Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (Casablanca Appellation); and Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 (Pirque Appellation), reaffirming the unique expression of each variety and its origin.
Recognition for The Master, from Maipo Andes Appellation
Atkin, also awarded 93 points The Master 2023, sourced from the centenary vineyards of Pirque Viejo and El Mariscal in the Maipo Valley.
