Viña Amelia Strengthens Its Positioning in Korea
As part of its positioning strategy in Asia, Viña Amelia hosted an exclusive presentation in Korea, one of the key markets in Marcelo Papa’s regional tour.
During his visit to major Asian markets, Marcelo Papa, winemaker and Technical Director of Viña Amelia, led the official presentation of the brand in Korea — an independent subsidiary within the Concha y Toro group and the first winery in South America exclusively dedicated to crafting high-end Chardonnay and Pinot Noir — further strengthening the presence of its portfolio in this strategic market.

The event took place over an exclusive lunch at the renowned restaurant Le Monde du Vin, located in Seoul’s Gangnam district, where a select group of specialized media attended a guided tasting of the 2023 and 2024 vintages of Amelia Quebrada Seca Chardonnay. The occasion provided an opportunity to delve deeper into the project and highlight the potential of the Limarí Valley — and particularly the Quebrada Seca vineyard — as a world-class origin for this variety.

This visit contributed to consolidating Viña Amelia’s positioning as a specialized, high-end proposition within the Concha y Toro portfolio, while reinforcing recognition of Quebrada Seca as a unique origin in one of Asia’s most dynamic and demanding markets.
