Terrunyo earns strong scores in the 2026 Vinous Chile Report

The latest vintages from Terrunyo once again stood out in the recently released 2026 Vinous Chile Report, earning outstanding scores that reflect the quality, consistency, and character of some of Chile’s most emblematic vineyards. Among them, Peumo in the Cachapoal Valley stands out, internationally recognized as one of the world’s premier sites for Carmenere.

For this edition of the report, one of the wine world’s most influential publications, Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous critic responsible for reviewing the wines of Chile, Argentina, and Spain, tasted more than 500 Chilean wines.

Among the highlights was Terrunyo Carmenere 2024, which received 94 points, once again confirming the extraordinary potential of Peumo to produce world-class Carmenere, distinguished by its depth, elegance, and complexity.

Meanwhile, Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2025 earned 93 points, reaffirming its reputation as one of Chile’s most distinctive and recognized expressions of the variety. Likewise, Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 received 92 points, highlighting the consistency and excellence of this wine in crafting Cabernet Sauvignon with remarkable character and balance.

These results reaffirm Terrunyo’s commitment to the relentless pursuit of excellence and reflect its ability to reveal the fullest expression of exceptional vineyards. In particular, they further establish Peumo as one of the world’s great terroirs for Carmenere, a variety that has found in this corner of the Cachapoal Valley one of its most authentic expressions.
