Centro del Vino Concha y Toro Invites Visitors to Experience Chilean Traditions Ahead of Chile’s National Holidays

This Saturday, September 12, visitors can enjoy a traditional performance by a Chilean organ grinder and chinchinero, one of the country’s most iconic expressions of popular cultural heritage, in the heart of Pirque.

As part of Chile’s National Heritage Month and in celebration of the country’s National Holidays, Centro del Vino Concha y Toro will host a special day this Saturday, September 12, dedicated to the traditions and cultural expressions that are an essential part of Chilean identity.

From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., an organ grinder and a chinchinero will make their way throughout the property, sharing this beloved traditional performance with visitors. Recognized as one of the most distinctive expressions of Chile’s popular cultural heritage, the performance will be part of the visitor experience throughout the day.

This initiative is part of a special September program created by Centro del Vino Concha y Toro to celebrate Chilean culture and connect visitors with the country’s rich cultural, historical, and culinary heritage.

Located just 20 kilometers from Santiago, this world-class wine tourism destination invites visitors to experience Chilean traditions through the lens of wine throughout September. As part of the celebration, guests visiting Centro del Vino can enjoy Wine O’Clock every day at 4:30 p.m., featuring a traditional toast with a glass of Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon Gold.

Throughout the month, the Centro del Vino shop will also offer 30% off all Cabernet Sauvignon wines, excluding icon wines. In addition, guests can take advantage of the current 20% off selected experiences when paying with Visa cards, valid for up to two tickets per card.

Throughout September, Centro del Vino Concha y Toro brings together wine, gastronomy, heritage, and Chilean traditions in one destination. Visitors can also discover “Al río Maipo,” a new artistic installation by Chilean artist Clemente McKay, recently unveiled at the property. Guests are invited to interact with the work by activating its water bells with assistance from the Centro del Vino hosts.

Visitors can also enjoy Diablo Wine Sunset, available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The experience combines a selection of wines and delicious cheeses with the colors of sunset in a unique natural setting.
