Isabel Guilisasti named among Latin America’s 100 most influential women

The Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image at Viña Concha y Toro has been included in Latina Powerhouse 2026, the annual ranking compiled by influential US publication ¡HOLA! USA, which recognises outstanding Latina women for their careers and impact across different fields.

Isabel Guilisasti, Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image at Viña Concha y Toro, has been recognised as one of Latin America’s 100 most influential women following her inclusion in Latina Powerhouse 2026, ¡HOLA! USA’s annual selection celebrating Latina women who stand out for their careers and impact in their respective fields. The recognition highlights her career in the wine industry and her contribution to raising the international profile of Chilean wine.

Born into a family with a long-standing tradition in the Chilean wine industry, Isabel Guilisasti grew up closely connected to the world of wine and to the development of Viña Concha y Toro, one of Chile’s most internationally established wine companies. Over a career spanning nearly three decades, she has played a key role in strengthening the global presence of its fine wine portfolio.

Since 2021, as Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image, she has driven a strategy focused on strengthening the positioning of the company’s luxury brands across key international markets, bringing together origin, heritage, innovation and brand building.

“I am deeply proud to receive this recognition, which also represents an opportunity to continue showcasing Chile and all that our country has to offer the world. Chile has a diversity of origins that is unique in the world, thanks to its extraordinary geography, together with wines of exceptional quality and a wealth of history, culture and legends that deserve to be told. Our great challenge is to honour this legacy while also carrying it forward, engaging new generations through an attractive and contemporary approach,” said Isabel Guilisasti.

A vision that brings Chilean wine to the world

Throughout her career, Isabel Guilisasti has championed projects aimed at elevating the positioning of Chilean wines while broadening the way their culture and origins are communicated and experienced.

One of the most significant milestones has been the international positioning of Don Melchor, whose 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon was named the No. 1 Wine of the World by influential publication Wine Spectator. This historic recognition placed Chile, and one of Puente Alto’s great Cabernet Sauvignons, at the forefront of the global wine scene.

This vision has also extended to wine tourism. Isabel Guilisasti spearheaded the renovation of the Concha y Toro Wine Centre in Pirque, conceived as a pioneering destination bringing together nature, heritage, art, gastronomy, technology and exceptional wines. One year after its launch, the project was named South America’s Leading Wine Tourism Destination by the World Travel Awards, establishing it as a benchmark for world-class wine tourism.

In April 2026, Isabel Guilisasti was also behind the launch of Viña Amelia in the Limarí Valley, a new winery dedicated exclusively to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, born from an extreme vineyard located at the gateway to the Atacama Desert.

Her distinctive approach to wine is also closely connected to her artistic background. A graduate in Fine Arts with a specialisation in Sculpture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, she has brought this sensitivity to a vision of wine that goes beyond quality alone, placing equal value on origin, history, people and the experience built around each brand.

A career marked by recognition

Isabel Guilisasti’s inclusion in Latina Powerhouse 2026 adds to a career widely recognised both in Chile and internationally. Among her distinctions are the Women in Wine & Spirits Awards (WINWSA), in the “Brand & Marketing – Product Concept” category, as well as her inclusion in Forbes’ list of “30 Powerful Women in Chile”.

In 2026, together with her brothers Eduardo Guilisasti and Rafael Guilisasti, she also received the “Entrepreneurs of the Year” award at the Business Awards organised by EY and El Mercurio. The recognition highlighted the Guilisasti family’s role in the expansion and international development of Viña Concha y Toro, as well as their strategic vision and leadership in consolidating a global portfolio of premium and luxury brands.

Her recognition in Latina Powerhouse 2026 therefore represents another milestone in a career closely linked to building value and prestige for Chilean wine, helping to bring its origins, heritage and identity to leading international markets.
