Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon is recognised as the “Value Red Wine of the Year” by Tim Atkin

Once again, Casillero del Diablo has been internationally recognised by famous English wine critic Tim Atkin, who chose our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon as the “Value Red Wine of the Year” in his latest report from Chile.

The Master of Wine highlights that “the warmer harvest (2019) helped achieve consistency across such a large blend of Maipo, Maule, and Rapel fruits. The cabernet sauvignon combines with 15 per cent syrah, cabernet franc, and carignan in a seamless whole, with subtle notes of wood, granular tannins, and vibrant cassis and blackberry.”

In addition to this important recognition, Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 was awarded 90 points in the same report, confirming once again the quality and consistency of our emblematic grape.
