Centro del Vino Concha y Toro welcomes Suzie Chung

As part of her visit to Chile, Centro del Vino Concha y Toro welcomed Suzie Chung, a renowned South Korean wine journalist, educator, and consultant.

Suzie has established herself as an influential voice connecting wine regions around the world with Asian markets. The purpose of her trip was to deepen her understanding of Chilean winemaking, gain firsthand insight into the evolution of its wines, and explore the latest developments in the industry, in line with her goal of becoming a leading expert on Chilean wines.

After touring the Don Melchor vineyard in Puente Alto and enjoying a luxury wine experience at Casa Don Melchor, Suzie continued her journey at Centro del Vino Concha y Toro in Pirque. Her visit included a tour through the historic 22-hectare park, the immersive sensory and museographic experience The Origin of a Legend, and the iconic historic aging cellar of Casillero del Diablo.

Through this experience, Suzie gained a deeper understanding of Chile’s winemaking tradition from a broad and immersive perspective, connecting with the geography that shapes our wines, the historical and cultural heritage that has accompanied their development, and the stories that form part of the identity of both Concha y Toro and Chile. She also had the opportunity to discover more about our wine and gastronomy offering, experiencing how wine interacts with cuisine and hospitality to create a holistic expression of the territory.

The visit concluded with lunch at Bodega 1883 restaurant, where she enjoyed a three-course menu paired with Amelia Chardonnay and Terrunyo Carmenere.

We thank Suzie Chung for her visit and for her ongoing contribution through media, education, and content strategy to further strengthen Chile’s positioning in one of the wine industry’s most relevant and dynamic markets.
