Viña Concha y Toro Receives Outstanding Scores from Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Following his visit to Chile, Matthew Luczy, wine critic for the influential publication Robert Parker Wine Advocate, awarded outstanding scores to Concha y Toro’s Fine Wines portfolio.
Matthew Luczy, responsible for reviewing wines from California’s Central Coast and South America for the publication, made his second visit to the country this year. During this occasion, he toured Viña Concha y Toro in Pirque, where he tasted Concha y Toro’s Fine Wines portfolio.
Among the most notable results, the company’s iconic Carmenere, Carmín de Peumo 2023, received 94 points. Likewise, The Master 2023 — a Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from two emblematic vineyards from Maipo Alto: the century-old Pirque Viejo Vineyard (D.O. Pirque) and El Mariscal Vineyard (D.O. Puente Alto) — earned 91 points. Meanwhile, Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon vintages 2022 and 2023 were both awarded 93 points.
These scores reinforce Viña Concha y Toro’s strong positioning in one of the most influential specialized publications in the international wine industry, while also recognizing the consistency and outstanding quality of its wines.
