Within the framework of her visit to Chile, the British journalist for The Drinks Business visited our CII in Talca to learn about the company’s latest in innovation, sustainability, and premiumization.
Eloise Feilden, journalist for the specialized trade publication, The Drinks Business, visited our Research and Innovation Center in Pencahue this past Monday for a first-hand look at everything Viña Concha y Toro is doing in terms of innovation, sustainability, and premiumization.
Her visit is framed within the British journalist’s trip to Chile to tour different wineries and collect information for her upcoming article in the magazine’s September edition: “The Chile Focus 2023.”
“During tour of our labs and experimental cellar, we had a chance to show Eloise the unique capabilities of Viña Concha y Toro’s Research and Innovation Center, which are tied to the wine industry’s latest challenges, and our current innovation success stories, including our 2.0 plants, digital platforms and AI applications, and the development of new products,” says Álvaro González, Director of the CII.
She then participated in a complete wine tasting delivered by Marcelo Papa, Technical Director for Concha y Toro; Isabel Mitarakis, Winemaker of Unrated, and Héctor Urzúa, Winemaker of Diablo, where we offered her a more in-depth understanding of our Puente Alto and Limari denominations of origin and the company’s latest innovations.
The Drinks Business is currently positioned as one of Europe’s leading and most influential media outlets specialized in wine, beer, and liquor.
