In the latest guide on Latin American wines by British Master of Wine, Alistair Cooper, the company excelled with extraordinary scores for 7 labels and 2 podium spots for “Best Red Wine” and “Best White Wine.” Keep reading to see which ones they were!
In the release of the 2nd edition of the Latin American Wine Guide by the renowned British Master of Wine, Alistair Cooper, 7 Concha y Toro wines received excellent scores above 94 points and extraordinary recognition.
Two of our wines grabbed spots on Cooper’s podium. This includes Carmín de Peumo 2021, which received 96 points – the highest score in the guide – and was named “Best Red Wine.” It also received trophies for “Best Cachapoal” and “Best Carmenere.”
Meanwhile, Amelia Chardonnay 2021 earned an impressive 95 points and was named the “Best White Wine” in the competition (sharing the top spot with with two other wines). It also won “Best Limarí” and “Best Chardonnay.”
The following wines were also evaluated and recognized:
- Don Melchor 2021, 95 points, named the “Best Cabernet Sauvignon” and “Best Maipo.”
- Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2021, 94 points.
- Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, 95 points.
- Terrunyo Carmenere 2021, 94 points.
- Amelia Pinot Noir 2021 95 points, named the “Best Pinot Noir” and “Best Limarí.”
These important accolades bestowed by Alistair Cooper reflect the consistency of our wines, their exceptional quality, and potential to continue positioning themselves as world-class wines.
