The company will be present at the next United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Dubai, with the aim of learning about the major trends in decarbonization and sharing its experience in nature-based solutions.
Viña Concha y Toro will be part of the Chilean pavilion at the next United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) to be held from 30 November to 12 December in Dubai.
This news was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through a discussion on public-private partnerships and climate action, with the participation of the Sustainability Manager of Viña Concha y Toro, Valentina Lira.
The company will be present at COP28 because it is an opportunity to learn about the major trends in decarbonization and, at the same time, share its experience in nature-based solutions as a tool for mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Participating in events such as COP28 is a great opportunity to reflect on the need to generate changes and to put those changes into practice. It is remarkable that people and companies from all over the world participate in this meeting, it allows us to have a global union to achieve the objectives and thus, decarbonization at the centre of the discussion”, commented Valentina Lira, Sustainability Manager of Viña Concha y Toro.
Viña Concha y Toro is in a permanent search for new trends and actions to reduce its carbon footprint. In the last 5 years, it has reduced its footprint by more than a third (35%). This has been a joint effort of the company that has been achieved by optimizing processes, reducing consumption, incorporating renewable energy, reducing the weight of our bottles, among others.
