  • World Travel: An Irreverent Guide, by Anthony Bourdain and Laurie Woolever.

The posthumous work by the charismatic chef, writer and irreverent traveller, Anthony Bourdain, who sadly passed away in June 2018, has finally hit the shelves. It was shortly before his unexpected death that Bourdain began to work on this book with his closest assistant and friend, Laurie Woolever. In fact, it was her who finished writing the book that honours his memory, showing a good selection of places in the world chosen by Bourdain himself, due to a special relationship with or because he simply wanted to recommend it. Undoubtedly a book to consider, especially for any of his fans.

  • Terroir Footprints: A fascinating trip to the great world of terroir, by Pedro Parra.

Pedro Parra, Ph.D in Wine Terroir from the Grignon Paris Center of Agriculture, is the author of this kind of autobiography and travel book. But beyond its format, what is important is its content. Because the specialist in micro terroir shares many of the knowledge acquired in his 20 years of experience as a respected consultant around the world. Thus, he explains the strict relationship that exists between the soil, the rocks and the resulting wine, with concrete examples from Chile, Argentina, Italy, Spain and the United States. This entertaining 450-page book, available in Spanish and English, is perfect for reading while drinking Amelia Chardonnay, a wine that seeks to express the unique character of the Limarí Valley terroir.

  • Eating for pleasure, people and planet, by Tom Hunt.

Tom Hunt is the English chef who wrote this cookbook which, to tell the truth, is more like a manifesto. Hunt has been a pioneer in his approach to gastronomy, combining pleasure, health and good food. Always thinking about the planet and incorporating social values. This is how he offers his vision along with recipes and tips to cook delicious but being friendly to the environment without spending too much. Always answering the big question: What is a sustainable diet? The chapters of it go through Morning Meals, Slow Fast Food: lunch and supper, A new way with salads, Family meals and feast plates, among others. A very inspiring book when it comes to finding recipes to pair with wines such as Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc, a limited production line made with special care.

  • Wines of the Rhone, by Matt Walls.

Matt Walls is the Rhône wine specialist and a Decanter contributor, who just released his latest book that took two years of research. To immerse himself in what the vineyards, terroir and history of the Rhone really are, Walls decided nothing less than to move with his British family to a small village in the south of France. From this experience, he provides a complete picture of this complex and extensive region, exploring its geology, appellation system, the profile of 200 key producers, and offering a guide to the last 40 vintages. A book for both long-time admirers and learners of this famous wine growing area. We recommend enjoying it with a glass of Gravas del Maipo Syrah, as it is one of the most widely cultivated grape varieties in the Rhone.

  • A Table for Friends, by Skye Mc Alpine.

This book celebrates the joy of eating with family and friends through more than 100 recipes that invite you to relax with your loved ones while the food cooks itself. Yes, though you would not believe it. What is unique about this book is that Skye McAlpine, a Sunday Times columnist and cookery author, shares her recipes setting you up for success regardless of whether the number of diners is two or twenty. Considering that using the oven can be chaotic when cooking for many people, McAlpine provides ingenious tips to organize and avoid stress, taking into account your kitchen, your mood and your time. Giving the reader inspiration and security when it comes to receiving your guests.

  • Wines & Recipes, by Raúl Diaz

Raúl Diaz is a Chilean sommelier who has worked as a wine expert for more than 15 years, educating and consulting at his own consultancy and training business, Wine Training School. Thanks to this trajectory, which has taken him to visit more than a hundred countries tasting wines, he brings us his first book. Which, he promises, is not a traditional food-and-wine pairing book. Because in his experience, there are no hard strict rules or clichés traditions. Just a fantastic universe of wines and recipes, in 208 pages, waiting for you to discover and enjoy them. Why not, along with a refreshing glass of Marques de Casa Concha Rosé.
