The icon Carmenere of Concha y Toro was awarded with outstanding 93 points in its 2021 vintage, which stands out for its elegance and complexity, characteristics of its origin in the Peumo terroir.
Carmín de Peumo once again demonstrates its consistent quality with a new and excellent recognition for its 2021 vintage. For the fourth time in its history, and in its 15th vintage, it is awarded 93 points in the prestigious specialised magazine, Wine Spectator, while with its 2005 and 2012 vintages it obtained 94 points, being this the maximum score achieved in this publication.
“An intriguing and complex version that evokes Pinot Noir for its opening notes of cherry, sous-bois and red tea, but adds slightly more robust sublayers of crème de cassis and toasted peppercorn, melding with strawberry jam and sandalwood midpalate. Lengthens nicely around a push of acidity and herb-laced tannins”, describes Aaron Romano, Senior Editor Wine Spectator.
Let’s keep working with Excellence to continue cultivating great achievements in the history of Carmín de Peumo.
