Renowned UK wine critic and Master of Wine Tim Atkin, has recently revealed the wine scores featured in his upcoming report on Chilean wines, awarding our company’s entire wine portfolio with over 90 points.
As for Viña Don Melchor, the 35th vintage of Puente Alto’s icon Cabernet Sauvignon, Don Melchor 2021, dazzled with an extraordinary 98 points. This is the second time that Don Melchor has received this score – the highest award given by Tim Atkin to the brand.
On the other hand, Concha y Toro’s iconic Carmenere, Carmín de Peumo, received an excellent score of 97 points for its 2021 harvest.
Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brands portfolio featured several notable representatives, including the Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2022 which scored 94 points, The Master 2022 scoring 93 points, Amelia Chardonnay 2022 with a score of 97 points, Amelia Pinot Noir 2022 with 95 points, Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 with a score of 94 points, Terrunyo Carmenere with 93 points and Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2023 with a score of 93 points.
The Marques de Casa Concha line received scores over 91 points throughout its portfolio, including Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay 2022 with 92 points. It is followed by Marques de Casa Concha Etiqueta Negra 2021, Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere 2022, Marques de Casa Concha Merlot 2021, and Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2022 with 91 points.
Finally, Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada 2022 and Casillero del Diablo Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 scored 91 points, while Casillero del Diablo Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 received 90 points.
